What is it?
International Nonproprietary Name (Active Substance): comb. drug Clinical-Pharmacological Group: Pulmonology → Cold remedies Composition: Active Substance: Thyme powder 500.0 mg. Excipients: Magnesium stearate, gelatin, distilled water, colorants (E104, E132, E171). Pharmacotherapeutic Group: Herbal preparation. Indications: Treatment of respiratory tract diseases during colds, symptoms of acute bronchitis. Dosage and Administration: For use in children from 6 years of age and adults. The preparation should always be taken in accordance with the instructions herein or as directed by a doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, consult a doctor or pharmacist. Adults: Take 2 hard capsules 3-4 times a day. Children from 6 years of age: Take 2 hard capsules 3-4 times a day. Take with a sufficient amount of liquid. Side Effects: Hypersensitivity reactions, such as skin rash or urticaria. In this case, discontinue the preparation and consult a doctor. Upon the first signs of hypersensitivity reactions, Tetesept cold capsules should no longer be taken. Contraindications: If the patient is allergic to thyme or other representatives of the Lamiaceae family, or to any of the components of the preparation. Interactions with Other Preparations: Inform your doctor or pharmacist about any medicines you are taking, have taken, or plan to take. No interactions are known to date. Special Precautions: Consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking Tetesept cold capsules. If the patient forgets to take Tetesept cold capsules, do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose. Pregnancy and Lactation: This medicinal product is not used during pregnancy and lactation. Driving and Operating Machinery: This preparation does not affect the ability to drive and operate machinery. Overdose: No cases of poisoning with Tetesept cold capsules are known to date. If the dose is too high, the intensity of side effects may increase. In this case, consult a doctor. The latter will decide on the necessary measures.
