What is it?
Composition: 1 film-coated tablet contains: Active substance Thioctic acid - 600 mg; Excipients: Microcrystalline cellulose, lactose, talc, colloidal silicon dioxide, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, talc, simethicone, magnesium stearate, macrogol 6000, sodium lauryl sulfate. Thiogamma® Turbo 1 vial 50ml solution for infusion contains: Active substance: Meglumine salt of thioctic acid - 1167.7 mg (equivalent to 600 mg of thioctic acid) Excipients: Meglumine, macrogol 300, water for injection. Indications Diabetic polyneuropathy Dosage and administration For oral administration, Thiogamma® 600 mg is prescribed once daily on an empty stomach. Tablets should be swallowed whole with a small amount of liquid. The preparation is also administered intravenously at a dose of 600 mg per day. (1 vial solution for infusion 1.2%) At the beginning of treatment, the preparation is administered intravenously for 2-4 weeks. Then, treatment can be continued with oral administration of the preparation at a dose of 600 mg per day. The preparation is administered intravenously slowly over 30 minutes. Infusions of Thiogamma® Turbo solution are carried out directly from the vials, which are placed in the accompanying light-protective hanging bags made of black polyethylene. Due to the photosensitivity of the active substance, the vial should be removed from the cardboard packaging immediately before use. Infusion is carried out directly from the bottle using a standard infusion set. Pregnancy and lactation: Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. Pregnancy and lactation period.
