What is it?
Thiocas Mono Active ingredient: 1 gram of gel contains 18.5 mg of dexketoprofen trometamol, equivalent to 12.5 mg of dexketoprofen. Excipients: Carbomer homopolymer (Carbopol 974P), Diethylene glycol monoethyl ether (Transcutol P), Macrogol (Polyethylene glycol 8000P), Lavender aroma, Ethanol (96%), and Purified water. Use: Thiocas Mono is a pain reliever belonging to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Thiocas Mono is used to treat pain and inflammatory conditions of traumatic and degenerative diseases in joints, tendons (structures connecting muscles and bones), ligaments (connective tissue of bones), and muscles. Thiocas Mono works by preventing or reducing the production of substances that cause pain and inflammation in the affected areas of joints, tendons, ligaments, and muscles. When applied topically, the gel reduces pain and swelling in the affected area. Thiocas Mono gel contains the active ingredient dexketoprofen (in the form of trometamol) and comes in an aluminum tube containing 60 grams of gel. The preparation should be applied to the painful area 2-3 times a day. The duration of treatment should not exceed 7 days. Use the indicated dose unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor. Method of use: Thiocas Mono is for external use. The gel should be gently rubbed in until fully absorbed. Hands should be washed thoroughly after applying Thiocas Mono. Storage conditions: Store Thiocas Mono in its original packaging, out of reach of children. Store at room temperature below 25˚C.
