What is it?

Tonsilgon N Drops Oral 100ml Bottle Composition: 100g oral drops contain: 2.6g of a herbal drug mixture (1:38) of the following herbs: Yarrow herb (Taraxaci herba) Horsetail herb (Equiseti herba) Marshmallow root (Althaeae radix) Chamomile flower (Matricariae flos) Oak bark (Quercus Cortex) Walnut leaves (Juglandis folium) Yarrow herb (Millefolii herba) (4:5:4:3:2:4:4); Extractant: Ethanol 59% (v/v) Extractant: Distilled water The preparation contains 19% (v/v) alcohol. Indications: Acute and chronic diseases of the upper respiratory tract (tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis) Prevention of complications resulting from respiratory viral infections and as an adjunct therapy during antibiotic treatment of bacterial infections. Dosage and Administration: In case of acute symptoms: Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age should take 25 drops 5-6 times a day. Children aged 6-11 years should take 15 drops 5-6 times a day. Children aged 1-5 years should take 10 drops 5-6 times a day. After the symptoms have subsided, treatment with Tonsilgon®N should be continued for another 1 week. After acute symptoms of the disease have subsided: Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age should take 25 drops 3 times a day. Children aged 6-11 years should take 15 drops 3 times a day. Children aged 1-5 years should take 10 drops 3 times a day. The drops should be taken undiluted. The drops should be held in the mouth for a short time and then swallowed. If necessary, the drops can be diluted with a small amount of liquid (e.g., a glass of water). Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients of the medicinal product Allergic reactions to flowers of the Asteraceae family. Pregnancy and Lactation: Since there is insufficient experience with use during pregnancy and lactation, the medication should only be prescribed during pregnancy and lactation by the attending physician after a strict risk-benefit assessment. Storage: Do not store above 25°C.
