Name - Turmanidze Antiseptic Ointment Indications Used for the following conditions: Purulent inflammatory processes of soft tissues: carbunculosis, furunculosis, panaritium, hidradenitis, lymphadenitis, lymphangitis, folliculitis, complicated postoperative wounds (large skin defects), clean wounds, post-traumatic open wounds, banal osteomyelitis, purulent-inflammatory processes of the lower extremities developed against the background of various diseases (obliterating endarteritis, diabetic angiopathies, obliterating atherosclerosis), trophic ulcers, post-traumatic suppurated wounds. For the treatment of superficial excoriations and other infected wounds. In proctology: anal fissures, paraproctitis, hemorrhoids. In gynecology: cervical erosion, colpitis, endocervicitis. In obstetrics: cracked nipples, perineal wounds. Dosage and Administration Apply the ointment in a thin layer to a sterile gauze pad or a three-layer bandage and cover the wound surface. In deep wounds, the ointment is introduced with a tampon. Before each dressing change, treat the wound with an antiseptic solution (3% hydrogen peroxide). Change the dressing once every 24 hours. Gynecology: Vaginal tampons once every 8-10 hours. Proctology: After a hygienic bath, apply a thin layer of ointment on a tampon to the perianal area, twice a day.
