What is it?
Name - Turmanidze ointment - Turmanidze's 25g ointment for burns Pharmacological action: Exhibits anti-inflammatory, local analgesic, and antiseptic effects. Removes necrotic tissues, cleanses wounds from purulent deposits, promotes epithelial tissue regeneration and granulation tissue development, and accelerates the healing process. Used for the following conditions: Burns of I, II, III degree, and for IV degree burns, it prepares the burned surface for skin grafting. Frostbite, chafing. Erysipelas, excoriations. Method of use: After treating the wound (burned) surface with an appropriate antiseptic (3% hydrogen peroxide) solution, apply the ointment in a thin layer to a gauze pad or a three-layer bandage. Then, bandage the wound. The wound should be treated once every 24 hours. Shelf life: 3 years. Store in a dry, cool place.
