What is it?
Composition and dosage form: 130g in orange glass or polymer material jars. The vial is placed in a cardboard box with a measuring cup. Valerian thick extract - 10.0 g; Peppermint tincture - 25.0 ml; Peppermint oil - 0.04 ml, sorbic acid, 96% ethyl alcohol, sugar syrup - up to 1000.0 g; "Valoment" contains a complex of biologically active substances: essential oils (menthol, borneol, borneol isovalerate, isovaleric acid), flavonoids, triterpene saponins, valepotriates. Pharmacological action: Exhibits sedative and analgesic effects. Enhances inhibitory processes in the neurons of the cortical and subcortical structures of the brain, reduces reflex excitability in the central parts of the nervous system, prolongs the action of sleeping pills, reflexively dilates the blood vessels of the brain, relieves spasms of the smooth muscles of internal organs, enhances bile secretion, peristalsis, secretion of digestive glands, has a weak antiseptic effect. Indications: Various forms of neurosis, hysteria, neurasthenia; excitability, fear, tension; migraine; neurogenic arrhythmia; liver and biliary tract diseases; disorders of the gastrointestinal secretory function; meteorism, nausea. Dosage and administration: Orally. Adults: one tablespoon 3-4 times a day; Children: from 6 months to 1 year - 1/2 teaspoon 3 times a day. From 1 to 3 years - 1 teaspoon 3 times a day. From 3 to 6 years - 1 dessert spoon 2 times a day. From 6 to 12 years - one dessert spoon 3-4 times a day. Contraindications: Not established. Side effects: Prolonged intake of large doses of the preparation may cause drowsiness. Shelf life: 2 years; Storage: at a temperature of 5–25°C, protected from light and inaccessible to children.
