Composition: Venlafaxine Clinical-pharmacological group: Antidepressants; Norepinephrine and serotonin reuptake inhibitors. Indications: Velaxin® is a central nervous system medication used to treat depression and to prevent relapse and recurrence of the condition after improvement. In the form of slow-release capsules, Velaxin is also used for social anxiety and generalized anxiety. Dosage and Administration: Velaxin capsules should always be taken as prescribed by a doctor. Contraindications: • Allergy to venlafaxine or any component of the preparation; • Taking or having recently (less than 14 days ago) discontinued MAO inhibitor antidepressants; • High blood pressure that is not reduced to normal or electrolyte imbalance; • Cardiovascular diseases with a risk of heart rhythm disturbances, severe heart failure; • Pregnancy and lactation; • Children and adolescents (under 18 years of age). Pregnancy and Lactation: The use of Venlaxin during pregnancy is contraindicated as its safety is unknown. The patient should consult a doctor if pregnant or planning to become pregnant. If the mother took Velaxin during pregnancy for any reason or stopped taking it shortly before delivery, the possibility of neonatal withdrawal syndrome should be considered. Breastfeeding should be discontinued when the baby is breastfed. If it is necessary for a nursing mother to take Velaxin, breastfeeding should be discontinued. В форме капсул с замедленным высвобождением Велаксин также используется при социальной тревожности и генерализованной тревожности. Правила приема и дозы: Капсулы Велаксина пациент всегда должен принимать по назначению врача.
