What is it?
Clinical-pharmacological group: Drug that reduces capillary wall permeability, venotonic and angioprotective agent. Composition and dosage form: Tablets: in a contour cell sheet of polyvinyl chloride and aluminum foil, 10 pcs. In a box, 3 sheets. 1 tab. Diosmin ............................ 450 mg Hesperidin ............................. 50 mg Ascorbic acid ...................... 100 mg Indications: Chronic venous insufficiency of the lower extremities of organic and functional origin: feeling of heaviness in the legs, pain, cramps, trophic disorders; acute hemorrhoidal attack. Method of administration and dosage: A significant feature of Venodiol is the standard daily dose, which simplifies the use of this drug. Two different administration regimens are possible: - 1 tablet 2 times a day during meals throughout the treatment; - 1 tablet 2 times a day for the first two weeks, and then 2 tablets once a day during meals. Experience with the drug shows that the duration of Venodiol use is directly proportional to the severity of the disease. - For the treatment of initial forms of chronic venous insufficiency, when the "heaviness in the legs" syndrome occurs, a 2-month course is usually sufficient, which should be repeated as needed, 2-3 times a year. - In more severe cases, with pain, cramps, and swelling, Venodiol must be taken for 3-4 months. - For the treatment of venous trophic ulcers, a longer course may be required - 6 months or more. - In case of acute hemorrhoidal attack, 6 tablets per day are prescribed for the first 4 days, and then 4 tablets per day for the next 3 days. It should be noted that the use of Venodiol does not cause habituation to this drug. Contraindications: * The drug is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to any of its components. Pregnancy and lactation: To date, there is no data on any side effects caused by the use of the drug in pregnant women. * Breastfeeding is not recommended during treatment with this drug, as there is no data on whether the active substances are excreted with breast milk. No teratogenic effects were detected during experimental studies. Storage conditions: The drug should be stored at a temperature not exceeding 300C, in a place inaccessible to children.
