What is it?
Ventoduo 100 microgram/50 microgram/ inhalation suspension with actuator Salbutamol/Beclometasone dipropionate Composition: The active substances are: Salbutamol (as sulfate) and Beclometasone dipropionate. Other components are: Oleic acid, ethanol and 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (HFA-134a). Each actuation delivers 100 micrograms of salbutamol (as sulfate) and 50 micrograms of beclometasone dipropionate. Indication: Ventoduo contains two active substances, salbutamol and beclometasone dipropionate. Salbutamol is a short-acting bronchodilator. Bronchodilators relax the muscles in the walls of the airways in your lungs, which makes the airways open wider, allowing you to breathe more easily. Beclometasone dipropionate is a corticosteroid that works by reducing inflammation and irritation in your lungs. Ventoduo is indicated for the treatment of asthma in patients who require corticosteroids and a short-acting, rapid-acting bronchodilator. Dosage: In adults and adolescents (from 12 years of age): Recommended doses: 2 inhalations (200 micrograms salbutamol and 100 micrograms beclometasone dipropionate) 1 or 2 times a day. Maximum doses: 2 inhalations (200 micrograms salbutamol and 100 micrograms beclometasone dipropionate) 3 or 4 times a day. Children aged 5 to 11 years: Recommended doses: 1 inhalation (100 micrograms salbutamol and 50 micrograms beclometasone dipropionate) 1 or 2 times a day. Maximum doses: 2 inhalations (200 micrograms salbutamol and 100 micrograms beclometasone dipropionate) 2 times a day. Do not increase the dose or frequency of administration arbitrarily, as side effects may occur with excessively high doses. a) Remove the cap.
