What is it?
Name - Viskoflu Nasal Spray 30ml #1 Indications Viskoflu Nasal Spray is a medical device containing a 3% hypertonic solution with a balanced pH and 6% N-acetylcysteine. It is used for liquefying mucous or mucopurulent secretions and for mechanical expulsion from the nasal cavity (in acute, subacute, and chronic rhinitis; with viscous, thick discharge; in vasomotor rhinitis) and from the paranasal sinuses (in acute and chronic sinusitis). It improves the course and progression of acute, subacute, and chronic inflammatory processes of the upper respiratory tract. Contraindications Viskoflu should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to any of the components in the product. It is contraindicated in children under 2 years of age. The use of Viskoflu in pregnant women is permissible only when absolutely necessary and under medical supervision. Dosage The recommended dosage is 2-3 sprays in each nostril 2 or 3 times a day for no more than 10 days. The duration of treatment depends on the severity of clinical symptoms. Treatment can be repeated several times a year, with at least one-week intervals between treatment courses. It is valid for 2 months after opening. Method of Use Remove the protective cap from the device, hold the bottle vertically, and carefully insert the dispenser into the nostril. Press the dispenser base with two fingers at the notches 2-3 times. Repeat the procedure in the other nostril. Clean the dispenser and reapply the protective cap. Shake well before use. Side Effects The hypertonic solution may cause a natural burning sensation upon spraying. This effect will pass within a few minutes.
