What is it?
International Nonproprietary Name (Active Substance): nandrolone Clinical-Pharmacological Group: Metabolic disorders → Agents affecting connective tissue metabolism → Anabolic steroids Indications: Nandrolone decanoate may be used for the treatment of osteoporosis, for the palliative treatment of certain cases of disseminated breast cancer in women, and as an adjunct to specific therapy and dietary measures in pathological conditions Dosage and Administration Zebol® - 50 should be administered by deep intramuscular injection. Adult dose: 25-50 mg every 3 weeks. Side Effects Amenorrhea, suppression of spermatogenesis, premature arrest of epiphyseal growth, urinary retention. Contraindications Pregnancy or lactation, and in men, known or suspected carcinoma of the prostate or breast. Established cardiovascular diseases are a relevant contraindication. Special Instructions If signs of puberty develop, the question of discontinuing treatment should be considered, preferably after consultation with the patient. Latent or manifest cardiac insufficiency, renal dysfunction, hypertension or migraine (these pathologies in the anamnesis), as anabolic steroids can cause urinary retention. Interactions with Other Drugs Anabolic steroids may improve glucose tolerance and reduce the need for insulin or other antidiabetic agents in diabetics.
