Albendazole . . . . 200 mg Oral suspension with orange flavor: 10 ml in a bottle 10 ml Albendazole . . . . 400 mg Clinical-pharmacological group: Anthelmintic and antiprotozoal agent. Indications: Nematodiasis (ascariasis, enterobiasis, ancylostomiasis, necatoriasis, trichuriasis); Strongyloidiasis; Neurocysticercosis caused by the larval form of Taenia solium; Hepatic, pulmonary, peritoneal echinococcosis caused by the larval form of Echinococcus granulosus; Giardiasis; Toxocariasis; As an adjunct in the surgical treatment of echinococcal cysts. Dosage regimen: The preparation is taken orally. It does not require body weight determination and dose adjustment based on weight. It does not require taking on an empty stomach or taking laxatives. The preparation is prescribed from 1 year of age. Enterobiasis Daily dose: Children aged 1-2 years: 200 mg, i.e., 5 ml of 4% oral suspension (1/2 of a 10 ml bottle). Adults and children over 2 years of age: 400 mg, i.e., 1 X 10 ml bottle of 4% oral suspension or 1 tab. 400 mg. Duration of treatment: single dose. Ascariasis, ancylostomiasis, trichuriasis Daily dose: Children aged 1-2 years: 200 mg, i.e., 5 ml of 4% oral suspension (1/2 of a 10 ml bottle). Adults and children over 2 years of age: 400 mg, i.e., 1 X 10 ml bottle of 4% oral suspension or 1 tab. 400 mg. Duration of treatment: single dose. Anguilluliasis, teniasis (associated with other parasitic invasions) Daily dose: Adults and children over 2 years of age: 400 mg, i.e., 1 X 10 ml bottle of 4% oral suspension or 1 tab. 400 mg. Duration of treatment: 1 dose once a day for 3 days. Giardiasis Daily dose: Children: 400 mg, i.e., 1 X 10 ml bottle of 4% oral suspension or 1 tab. 400 mg. Duration of treatment: 1 dose once a day for 5 days. Trichinellosis Children: 15 mg/kg/day, divided into two doses. Adults: 800 mg/day, divided into two doses. Duration of treatment: 1 dose in the morning and evening for 10-15 days. Side effects: Gastrointestinal system: abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, slight or moderate increase in liver enzymes, transaminases. Central nervous system: headache, dizziness. Dermatological reactions during prolonged treatment: reversible alopecia, skin rash, itching. Other: allergic reactions. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the preparation and other benzimidazole group drugs. Pregnancy and lactation: The use of the preparation is contraindicated during pregnancy. If the preparation needs to be prescribed during lactation, the issue of discontinuing lactation should be decided.
