What is it?
Pharmacotherapeutic group: Antimicrobial drugs for systemic use. Macrolides and azides. Indications: Upper respiratory tract infections: pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis, otitis media; lower respiratory tract infections: bronchitis, exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, hospital-acquired and community-acquired pneumonias; skin and soft tissue infections: erythema migrans, erysipelas, impetigo, secondary pyodermas; genitourinary tract infections; sexually transmitted diseases; Helicobacter pylori-associated gastric and duodenal diseases. Dosage and administration: ZIROMIN suspension is for oral administration, once daily, 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to azithromycin, other macrolides, or any component of the preparation. Severe hepatic and renal impairment. Storage conditions: Store in a place inaccessible to children, at a temperature not exceeding 25C. Prepared suspension should be stored for no more than 5 days. Shelf life: 3 years.
