What is it?
Cetirizine dihydrochloride 10 mg; Pharmacotherapeutic group: Antiallergic agent (H1-histamine receptor blocker). Indications: - For the treatment of symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and allergic conjunctivitis, such as itching, sneezing, rhinorrhea, lacrimation, conjunctival hyperemia; - Hay fever; - Urticaria, including chronic idiopathic urticaria, angioedema; - Other allergic dermatoses, including atopic dermatitis, accompanied by itching and rash. Contraindications: - Hypersensitivity to cetirizine, hydroxyzine, piperazine derivatives, and other components of the preparation; - End-stage renal failure (CrCl <10 ml/min); - Hereditary galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome; - Children under 6 years of age (for this dosage form); - Pregnancy, lactation; Precautions: - Chronic renal failure (requires dose adjustment); - Chronic liver diseases; - Elderly age (possible decrease in glomerular filtration). Dosage and administration: For oral administration, with 1 glass of liquid. Adults and children over 6 years of age: The daily dose is 10 mg (1 tablet). Sometimes, a therapeutic effect can be achieved by starting with a dose of 5 mg (1/2 tablet). Special instructions: For children from 6 months to 6 years, Zyrtec is prescribed in the oral drops dosage form 10 mg/ml. Caution is advised when consuming alcohol simultaneously. Storage conditions: In the original packaging, not exceeding +30 C. Keep out of reach of children. Dispensing conditions: Group II (prescription only)
