What is it?
Composition: Active substance: Azithromycin dihydrate (equivalent to 768mg azithromycin) Indications: Infectious and inflammatory diseases caused by pathogens sensitive to the drug: Upper respiratory tract and ENT infections (angina, sinusitis, tonsillitis, otitis media); scarlet fever; lower respiratory tract infections (bacterial and typical pneumonia, bronchitis); skin and soft tissue infections of moderate severity (erysipelas, impetigo, secondarily infected dermatoses); urogenital tract infections (uncomplicated urethritis and/or cervicitis); Lyme disease (borreliosis) for the treatment of the initial stage. Contraindications: Severe liver and kidney dysfunction; hypersensitivity to azithromycin and other components of the drug; hypersensitivity to antibiotics of the macrolide group. Dosage and Administration: The drug is administered orally, once a day. The suspension should be taken 1 hour before meals or 2 hours after meals. Instructions for preparing the suspension: The suspension is prepared by dissolving the powder with distilled or boiled water. To prepare 15ml of suspension (nominal volume), 9ml of water should be added to the vial containing 600mg of azithromycin (ZITMAK 200, 16g) (actual volume - 20ml suspension). Each vial should contain 5ml more than the base dose of the suspension to ensure complete consumption of the drug from the vial. The shelf life of the prepared suspension is 5 days, at a temperature not exceeding 25C. Storage: Store in a dry, light-protected place, inaccessible to children, at a temperature not exceeding 25C, and do not use after the expiry date. The prepared suspension should be stored in the refrigerator at 2-8C and used within 5 days. Dispensing from pharmacy: Pharmaceutical product group II, dispensed with prescription form N3.
