What is it?

Composition: Active substance: 73.8 mg dexketoprofen trometamol, equivalent to 50 mg dexketoprofen. Excipients: Ethanol 96%, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide, water for injection. Pharmacotherapeutic group: Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Indications: Symptomatic treatment of moderate and post-operative pain, renal colic, and low back pain in patients who cannot take tablets. Dosage and administration: ZUM-25 is always taken as prescribed by a doctor. The required dose will be selected by the doctor based on the type, severity, and duration of symptoms. The recommended dose is mainly 1 ampoule every 8-12 hours, and if necessary, the dose can be repeated after 6 hours. Do not exceed a total daily dose of 150 mg. The injectable form is used only during the acute phase of illness; transition to oral form should occur as soon as possible. The preparation is for intravenous or intramuscular injection. For intravenous infusion, the contents of the ampoule are diluted in 30-100 ml of physiological saline, 5% glucose, or Ringer's lactate solution, administered as a slow infusion over 10-30 minutes. The solution should be protected from light. For intravenous bolus injection, the preparation is administered over at least 15 seconds. ZUM-25 must not be used intrathecally or epidurally. Only clear and colorless solutions should be used. The preparation is compatible in small doses with small volumes of injectable solutions of heparin, lidocaine, morphine, and theophylline. For intramuscular injection, the solution is injected into the muscle immediately after removal from the colored ampoule, as a deep, slow injection. Not for use in individuals under 18 years of age. In elderly patients with kidney and liver problems, the daily dose should not exceed 50 mg. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to dexketoprofen trometamol or any of the other ingredients of the preparation, to acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. History of asthma, acute allergic rhinitis, nasal polyps, urticaria, angioneurotic edema, wheezing in the chest after taking asthma or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. History of peptic ulcer, bleeding from the stomach or intestines after taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Chronic digestive problems, chronic intestinal inflammation, tendency to bleeding and blood clotting problems, third trimester of pregnancy or breastfeeding period. Pregnancy and lactation: The preparation is contraindicated in the III trimester of pregnancy and during lactation and is not recommended in the I and II trimesters. Pharmacy dispensing conditions: Over-the-counter.
