What is it?
Ambroxol Bene Pharm Syrup 15mg/5ml 100ml Composition: 100g syrup contains Ambroxol hydrochloride 0.3g or 0.6g Excipients: Benzoic acid, tartaric acid, propylene glycol, glycerin, sorbitol, sodium metabisulfite, sodium saccharin, cherry flavoring, purified water. Indications: Acute and chronic respiratory diseases accompanied by viscous sputum secretion: Acute and chronic bronchitis; Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; Bronchial asthma with difficulty in sputum expectoration; Pneumonia; Bronchiectasis. Dosage regimen: The preparation is administered orally, during or after meals, with a small amount of liquid. 15mg/5ml Ambroxol Bene Pharm solution is administered according to the following regimen: Adults and children over 12 years old - 10ml (2 teaspoons) - 3 times a day Children from 6 to 12 years old - 5ml (1 teaspoon) - 2-3 times a day Children from 2 to 6 years old - 2.5ml (1/2 teaspoon) - 3 times a day Duration of treatment is 14 days. After 14 days, the dose can be reduced. In case of a long-term treatment course, the dose can be reduced by 2 times. Side effects: Gastrointestinal system: nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain with prolonged intake of high doses. Rarely - weakness, headache, allergic reactions. Pregnancy and lactation: Ambroxol Bene Pharm is contraindicated in the I trimester of pregnancy. In the II and III trimesters, if necessary, and during lactation, the benefit of therapy for the mother and the possible risk to the fetus should be assessed. Effect on ability to drive and operate machinery: Taking the preparation at recommended doses does not affect activities requiring great attention and speed of psychomotor reactions. Storage conditions and shelf life: Shelf life is 3 years. Store in a dry, light-protected place, inaccessible to children, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
