What is it?
AZARA-NS Nasal Spray Composition: 1 ml of the preparation contains Active substance: Azelastine hydrochloride 1 mg. Excipients: Hypromellose, disodium edetate, anhydrous citric acid, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium chloride, purified water. Indications for use: AZARA-NS Nasal Spray is an anti-allergic/antihistamine agent. It is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and perennial allergic rhinitis in adults, adolescents, and children over 6 years of age. Method of administration and dosage: The preparation is intended for intranasal use only. Before the first use of the preparation, several actuations are required to obtain a uniform spray. Each actuation delivers 0.14 ml of solution containing 140 mcg of azelastine hydrochloride. Usually, 1 dose of nasal spray is administered into each nostril 2 times a day (morning and evening), which is equivalent to 560 mcg of azelastine hydrochloride/day. Hold your head correctly when spraying the solution. The duration of use depends on the type, severity, and nature of the symptoms. AZARA-NS Nasal Spray is intended for long-term use and there are no restrictions in this regard. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients of the preparation; Children under 6 years of age. Fertility, pregnancy and lactation: Pregnancy: Although animal studies have not shown teratogenic effects, when using doses many times higher than therapeutic doses, in accordance with modern medical regulations for the use of medicines, the use of AZARA-NS Nasal Spray is not recommended during the first trimester of pregnancy. Lactation: Due to the lack of sufficient experience, the use of AZARA-NS Nasal Spray during lactation is not recommended. Fertility: Animal studies have shown an effect on fertility after oral administration of the drug. Storage: Store at a temperature between 8°C and 25°C. Keep out of reach of children! After opening the bottle, the preparation is valid for 6 months.
