What is it?
CEFTRINOR 1000 MG Active substance is ceftriaxone (in the form of ceftriaxone sodium). Each vial contains 1,000 mg of ceftriaxone (in the form of ceftriaxone sodium). Usage: Ceftriaxone is used to treat serious infections such as: - Bacterial meningitis - Intra-abdominal infections (e.g., peritonitis and biliary tract infections) - Bone and joint infections, complicated skin and soft tissue infections - Complicated urinary tract infections, including pyelonephritis (kidney infection) - Respiratory infections - Genital infections (including gonococcal infections) and - Lyme disease stages II and III (infection caused by tick bite). How to use: Ceftriaxone injection is usually administered by a doctor or nurse. It can be given as a drip infusion (intravenous infusion) or as an injection directly into a vein or muscle. It should not be mixed or administered simultaneously with calcium-containing injections. For intramuscular injection only, an ampoule of lidocaine should be used. If lidocaine is used as a solvent, the resulting solution should never be used intravenously. If the patient is unsure, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Based on the disease, age, weight, and response to treatment, the doctor will determine the appropriate dose and duration of treatment for the patient. Do not change the dose arbitrarily. If the patient believes the effect of the medication is too strong or too weak, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Medication should be continued for at least 2-3 days after recovery or for a few days after surgery to prevent infections. Medication should always be taken exactly as instructed or as prescribed by your doctor or pharmacist. If the patient is unsure, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
