- CINNARIZINE Tablets Composition Each tablet contains the active substance 25 mg Cinnarizine. Excipients: Lactose monohydrate, wheat starch; Povidone K 25; Magnesium stearate; Colloidal anhydrous silica; Microcrystalline cellulose. Dosage Form and Packaging Tablets. Round, biconvex tablets, 7 mm in diameter; color – white to almost white; odorless. 50 tablets in a transparent PVC/aluminum foil blister, 1 blister together with the instructions for use is placed in a cardboard box. Mechanism of Action Cinnarizine is a calcium blocker. It improves cerebral and peripheral blood circulation. It suppresses nystagmus and other manifestations of vestibular disorders, reduces labyrinth irritation. It exhibits a known antihistamine effect. Indications Symptomatic treatment of vestibular apparatus diseases and Meniere's disease, manifested by dizziness, vomiting, nausea, tinnitus. Prevention and treatment of motion sickness. Contraindications Cinnarizine must not be used in the following cases: Hypersensitivity to the medicinal product or any of its excipients; Pregnancy and lactation.
