Pantothenic acid and its salts are water-soluble vitamins, are part of acetyl-CoA, and play a significant role in numerous metabolic processes. In this way, dexpanthenol can meet the increased demand of the body for pantothenic acid, which is essential for the formation and regeneration of skin and mucous membranes. A large portion is excreted unchanged in urine and feces. Indications for use Activation of healing processes in minor skin injuries: minor burns and bruises, skin irritation from radio-, phototherapy or UV radiation; chronic ulcers, bedsores, anal fissures, skin grafting, and cervical erosion, during corticosteroid treatment. Care for dry and chapped skin. Infants Prevention and treatment of diaper rash. Regular care of the mammary glands during breastfeeding, treatment of sore nipples and fissures. Method of administration and dosage For external use. Apply the ointment once a day or more often if necessary. Care of the mammary glands of nursing mothers: Apply to nipples after each breastfeeding. Infant care: Apply after each diaper change. The duration of treatment depends on the type and course of the disease. Side effects The side effects listed below are based on spontaneous reports. The exact frequency of each of them cannot be determined. Immune system, skin and subcutaneous tissue: Allergic reactions, including skin - contact dermatitis, allergic dermatitis, itching, erythema, eczema, rash, urticaria, skin irritation, vesicular rash. Фармакологические свойства Декспантенол, в свою очередь, является спиртовым аналогом пантотеновой кислоты и обладает той же биологической активностью. Декспантенол быстро проникает в клетки и трансформируется в пантотеновую кислоту, которая оказывает тот же эффект, что и витамин B5. Пантотеновая кислота и ее соли, в свою очередь, являются водорастворимыми витаминами, входят в состав ацетилкоэнзима А и играют большую роль во многих метаболических процессах. Таким образом, декспантенол может удовлетворить повышенную потребность организма в пантотеновой кислоте, которая необходима для формирования и регенерации кожи и слизистых оболочек. Способ применения и дозировка Для наружного применения. Наносить мазь один раз в день или чаще при необходимости. Уход за молочными железами кормящих матерей: наносить на соски после каждого кормления. Уход за младенцем: наносить после каждой смены подгузника. Продолжительность лечения зависит от вида и течения заболевания. Побочные эффекты Перечисленные ниже побочные эффекты основаны на спонтанных сообщениях.
