What is it?
Diclofenac Sodium Pharmacological property: Non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antirheumatic agent. Indication: Used for symptomatic treatment of pain and inflammatory processes; for the treatment of rheumatism; post-traumatic swelling and inflammation. Contraindication: Do not use if the patient has gastric and duodenal ulcers or other systemic bleeding; is allergic to any ingredient in the preparation; in the last trimester of pregnancy; in children and adolescents under 15 years of age; recommended for patients requiring immediate effect. Dosage and administration: 1 injection is used for therapy. After injection, the patient should be under medical observation for 1 hour. If necessary, the doctor will determine the duration of treatment. Side effects: Headache, dizziness, fatigue, irritation, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, in rare cases bleeding. Interaction with other medications: When taken in combination, it can increase the plasma concentration of lithium, phenytoin, digoxin, and can reduce the effect of dehydrating and antihypertensive drugs. Sodium diclofenac can reduce the effectiveness of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (heart failure and antihypertensive agents). Simultaneous administration may also increase the risk of kidney dysfunction. Use with potassium-sparing drugs can cause an increase in serum potassium.
