What is it?

Dupatin Eye Drops 0.1% 5ml Composition: Active substance: Each 1 ml contains olopatadine hydrochloride, equivalent to 1 mg olopatadine. Excipients: Benzalkonium chloride, sodium chloride, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide, water for injections. Indication: Dupatin is used to treat the ocular signs and symptoms of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis. Allergic conjunctivitis: Some products (allergens), such as dust, house dust, or animal hair, can cause allergic reactions, leading to itching, redness, and swelling of the eye surface. Dupatin is a medicine used to treat allergic eye diseases. It works by reducing the intensity of the allergic reaction. Dosage and administration: Follow your doctor's instructions exactly when using Dupatin. If you are unsure about how to use the medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Instructions on proper use and dosage/frequency of administration Instill 1 drop into the affected eye(s) twice a day, in the morning and evening. Instill the recommended dose unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor. Instill Dupatin into both eyes only if your doctor has told you to do so. Instill Dupatin for the duration prescribed by your doctor. Route and method of administration: Dupatin should only be used as eye drops. Wash your hands before instillation. Remove the cap from the bottle. Remove the ring located under the cap. Instill the medicine into the eyes as described below: Tilt your head back; gently pull down the lower eyelid with your finger to create a pocket between the eye and the eyelid. Hold the bottle upside down, vertically above the eye, with your other hand. Squeeze gently to release one drop. Be careful not to touch the dropper tip with your fingers or eye. After instillation, press the inner corner of your eye with your fingertip for about 1-2 minutes. This prevents the medicine from entering the nose through the tear ducts. Pregnancy: If you are pregnant or may become pregnant, consult your doctor before using this medicine. If you notice you are pregnant during treatment, consult your doctor or pharmacist immediately. Breastfeeding: Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine. If you are breastfeeding an infant, do not use Dupatin as it may pass into breast milk. Driving and operating machinery: Blurred vision may occur after using Dupatin. Do not drive or operate machinery until this symptom disappears. Storage conditions: Keep Dupatin out of reach of children and in its original packaging. Store at room temperature not exceeding 25°C. Use according to the expiry date. Do not use Dupatin after the expiry date indicated on the packaging. Keep the bottle tightly closed after use. The product must be used within 28 days after opening the bottle.
