What is it?

Edolbrim 2mg/ml eye drops, brimonidine tartrate solution Edolbrim is a medication that reduces intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Edolbrim eye drops can be used as monotherapy or in combination with other eye drops when a single agent is not sufficiently effective in lowering intraocular pressure. Do not use Edolbrim: - if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to brimonidine tartrate or any of the other ingredients in the medicine (listed in section 6); - if you are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or any other antidepressant, inform your doctor; - if you are breastfeeding; - in newborns. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription. Pregnancy and breastfeeding: If you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. Edolbrim is not used during breastfeeding. Driving and using machines: Edolbrim may cause fatigue and drowsiness, which can affect your ability to drive. Edolbrim may also cause blurred vision or other visual disturbances that can affect your ability to drive or operate machinery, especially at night and in conditions of poor lighting. You may resume driving and operating machinery after your symptoms have completely resolved. Dosage regimen: The usual dose is one drop in the affected eye twice daily, with an interval of 12 hours between doses. For effectiveness, Edolbrim needs to be used daily. If you are using other medicines with Edolbrim, maintain an interval of 5-15 minutes between instillations.
