What is it?
Anti-inflammatory Ibuprofen 5% Gel Radian B Composition: Active substance is 5% Ibuprofen. Additional substances: Hydroxyethylcellulose, Sodium hydroxide, Benzyl alcohol, Isopropyl alcohol and Purified water. Indication: Ibuprofen belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. They relieve pain and reduce inflammation. Radian B is used for back pain, rheumatic and muscle pain or ligament sprains and sports injuries. Radian B is not used: – If the patient is allergic to ibuprofen or any of the ingredients in Radian B. – If the patient has had an allergic reaction, including asthma, nasal inflammation (rhinitis) or hives (urticaria) caused by aspirin, ibuprofen or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. – If the patient has kidney failure. Radian B must not be used with plasters or other dressings. Special precautions when using Radian B: Radian B must not come into contact with irritated or damaged skin, eyes, nose, and sensitive areas. Taking other medicines: Inform your doctor if the patient is taking the following medicines: – Aspirin; – Other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (similar painkillers); as the risk of side effects may increase. Pregnancy and lactation: Radian B must not be used during pregnancy. The preparation can prolong pregnancy and labor. Lactation is permitted during the use of the preparation. How to use Radian B: Radian B is used on the skin. Dosage Adults, the elderly and children over 14 years of age: – 5 to 10 cm of gel (containing 50-100 mg of ibuprofen) should be squeezed from the tube and gently rubbed into the affected area until fully absorbed. The procedure can be repeated every 4 hours as needed, but no more than 4 doses should be used in 24 hours. Hands should be washed after each use. Do not exceed the recommended dose. The preparation must not be used in children under 14 years of age without a doctor's prescription. In case of Radian B overdose: Symptoms of overdose include headache, vomiting, insomnia, and low blood pressure. Possible side effects – Sudden wheezing; – Difficulty breathing; – Swelling of the eyelids, face or lips, rash or itching, which may spread over the whole body; – Peeling or ulceration of the skin. The following side effects have been rarely reported: – Skin reactions at the application site, rash, itching; – Abdominal pain; – Dyspepsia – Kidney failure (very rarely) – Symptoms of asthma in patients with a history of asthma or allergies How to store Radian B: Radian B should be stored out of reach of children, at a temperature not exceeding 25C, and the cap should be closed tightly after use. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging. Radian B packaging: Radian B Ibuprofen gel is supplied in 30 g, 50 g or 100 g aluminum tubes.
