What is it?
Contents: 1 g of ointment contains 100 mg of indomethacin Indications: • Acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of joints (rheumatoid polyarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis); • Rheumatic diseases of soft tissues (tenosynovitis, bursitis, fibrositis, periarthritis); • Activated arthrosis; discopathies, neuritis, plexitis, radiculitis; • Postoperative swelling, contusions, dislocations, sprains. Contraindications: • Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation; • Hypersensitivity to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs; • Active peptic ulcer disease, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, coagulopathies; • Do not use on open wounds, mucous membranes, in the oral cavity, or eyes. Pregnancy and lactation: Do not use during pregnancy and lactation. Method of administration and dosage: • Adults The medicinal product is intended for external use, for application to the skin. Apply 2-3 times a day in a thin layer with gentle rubbing to the affected area. The amount sufficient for one application is approximately 4-5 cm of ointment. The total daily amount used should not exceed 15 cm. Duration of treatment not more than 10 days. • Children over 14 years of age Single and daily doses are approximately half of the adult dose, i.e., the amount sufficient for one rubbing is approximately 2-2.5 cm of ointment. The total daily amount should not exceed 7.5 cm of ointment. The duration of treatment should not exceed 10 days. Indomethacin 10% ointment can be used in complex therapy with tablets of this medicinal product. Storage conditions: In a place protected from light, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Do not freeze! Keep out of reach of children! Dispensing conditions: Over-the-counter.
