What is it?
Composition: Licorice dry extract 27.5mg; Menthol BP 10mg; Eucalyptus oil BP 100mcg; Anise oil BP 100mcg; Peppermint oil BP 50mcg; Capsicum oil BP 50mcg; Pine oil 25mcg; Excipients: Microcrystalline cellulose powder 90mg; Starch 23.5mg; Sodium saccharin 1.47mg; Sodium methylparaben 0.5mg; Sodium propylparaben 0.25mg; Purified water-q.s; Coloring agent: Chocolate brown, brown 0.6mg; Magnesium stearate 7.95mg; Aerosil (colloidal silicon dioxide) 2.44mg. Indications: Kofanol is a fast-acting and potent medicinal product used for sore throat (inflammatory process), colds, and cough. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation; generally well tolerated. In rare cases, diarrhea and nausea may occur. Precautions: If symptoms persist for more than two days, consult your doctor. Dosage and administration: For adults and children: Take 1 or 2 tablets 4 times a day, within 24 hours. (The tablet should be dissolved slowly in the mouth) Do not take more than 8 lozenges. Possible side effects: Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation; generally well tolerated. In rare cases, diarrhea and nausea may occur. If any side effect develops, including any not listed in this leaflet, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Packaging: 4 lozenges are placed on a strip, 25 strips are placed in a cardboard box with instructions for use. Storage: Store in a dry, cool place, inaccessible to children. Expiration date: 3 years. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the packaging. Description: Round, uncoated, brown lozenge (pastille). Dosage form: Oral lozenge (pastille).
