What is it?
Composition One tablet of the preparation contains 7.5 mg or 15 mg of the active substance - meloxicam. Indications - Inflammatory and degenerative diseases of joints (osteoarthritis); - Rheumatoid arthritis; - Ankylosing spondylitis. Dosage and Administration For rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis, the preparation is prescribed at 15 mg per day; after achieving a positive therapeutic effect, the dose can be reduced to 7.5 mg per day. For osteoarthritis, the daily dose is 7.5 mg; if necessary, the dose can be increased to 15 mg per day. The maximum daily dose is 15 mg. In patients with a high risk of side effects, treatment starts with 7.5 mg per day. In patients with renal insufficiency or undergoing hemodialysis, the preparation is prescribed at 7.5 mg/day. In cases of mild or moderate renal impairment (creatinine clearance > 25 ml/min), dose adjustment is not required. Tablets are taken with water during meals, once a day. Contraindications - Peptic ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum in the exacerbation phase; - Severe liver dysfunction; - Renal failure (without hemodialysis); - Pregnancy, lactation; - Children and adolescents under 15 years of age; - Hypersensitivity to meloxicam or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (including salicylates). Storage Conditions and Shelf Life The shelf life of the preparation is 2 years. Store at a temperature of 10-25C, protected from light, in a dry place, inaccessible to children!
