What is it?
For oral use: Composition: Each capsule contains: Active substance - Simethicone 240mg; Excipients: Gelatin, Glycerin (E-422) and Purified Water. Indication: Simethicone is a physiologically neutral compound that does not possess pharmacological activity. It acts by altering the surface tension of gases in the intestines, causing them to coalesce and be expelled. Simethicone is not absorbed by the gastrointestinal mucosa and is excreted unchanged in the feces. Used for the symptomatic treatment of abdominal bloating (meteorism) in adults and adolescents over 15 years of age. Contraindication: If the patient has hypersensitivity to simethicone or any of the excipients in the preparation. Precautions: If symptoms persist or worsen after 10 days of taking Dialac Forte, or if constipation persists, consult your doctor. Interaction with other drugs: Studies to investigate interactions with other drugs have not been conducted. Taking Dialac Forte with food and drinks: Taking the preparation with food or drinks does not affect its effectiveness. Pregnancy and lactation: During pregnancy or lactation, if pregnancy is suspected or planned, consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking the preparation. Although the preparation is not absorbed by the gastrointestinal tract, it is necessary to consult a doctor before use during pregnancy and lactation. Dosage and administration: Dosage and frequency of administration: Take 1 capsule after each main meal (breakfast and lunch) with a glass of water. Do not exceed the maximum daily dose (3 capsules). The duration of treatment is up to 10 days. Overdose: Since the preparation is not absorbed, side effects are unlikely even when taking the medication at doses significantly higher than recommended. In case of overdose, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Missed dose: If a dose is missed, do not take a double dose. If you have any further questions, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Possible side effects: Like all medicines, Dialac Forte may cause side effects in people sensitive to its components. The following side effects have been reported during simethicone use, with their frequency not precisely determined: nausea, vomiting, constipation, abdominal pain. Hypersensitivity reactions such as swelling of the face or tongue, difficulty breathing. Angioedema, skin rash, itching. If any side effects occur, including those not listed in this leaflet, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Storage: Store at a temperature not exceeding 30C, out of reach of children.
