What is it?

Biodornaza, Suppositories Composition: Active substances are: Streptokinase 15,000 IU and Streptodornase not less than 1250 IU. Excipients are: liquid paraffin and hard fat. The weight of one suppository is 1.4 g. Indications: Chronic adnexitis; postoperative infiltrative lesions; endometritis; varicose veins in acute and chronic inflammatory stages. Abscesses and fistulas around the rectum with extensive inflammatory infiltration. Purulent cysts of the sacrococcygeal region. Dosage and Administration: The preparation is always taken according to the doctor's prescription. The route of administration is rectal. The suppository should be inserted deeply into the rectum after defecation. Recommended doses are: Adults and children: During a treatment course of 2-9 days, the patient should take 4-18 suppositories. The dose is selected by the doctor depending on the severity of the disease. For severe and chronic conditions, suppositories should be used as follows: 1 suppository 3 times a day for 3 days. 1 suppository 2 times a day for 3 days. 1 suppository daily for 3 days. The maximum dose is 18 suppositories over 9 days. For less severe conditions, the following number of suppositories should be used: 1 suppository 2 times a day for 3 days. 1 suppository daily for 4 days. The maximum dose is 10 suppositories over a 7-day course. For mild conditions, the following number of suppositories should be used: 1 suppository 2 times a day for 2 days. The maximum dose is 4 suppositories over a 2-day course. In case of ineffectiveness or recurrence of the condition, the doctor may prescribe a repeated course of treatment. Side effects: Local pain; local swelling; high temperature; bleeding from the site of application; allergic reactions at the site of application. Contraindications: Allergy to streptokinase, streptodornase, or any other component of the preparation; fresh wounds covered with a newly formed crust, surgical sutures, and the period up to approximately 10 days after bleeding. Combined use with anticoagulants, as local bleeding may develop; patients with blood clotting disorders; concurrent use with other preparations containing calcium salts. Interactions with other drugs: The product should not be taken with anticoagulants, as local bleeding may develop. Any medication the patient is taking should be reported to the doctor. Special instructions: Before using Biodornaza, consult a doctor or pharmacist. The preparation is allowed to be used only for liquefying purulent or hemorrhagic exudates or local clots. If a Biodornaza suppository is missed, do not take a double dose to make up for it. Pregnancy and lactation: Consult a doctor before taking the preparation during established or possible pregnancy and breastfeeding. Driving and operating machinery: Does not affect the ability to drive and operate machinery. Overdose: If the preparation is used in a dose larger than recommended, consult a doctor or pharmacist immediately. Appearance and packaging: The cardboard box contains a blister made of pharmaceutical foil with #6 suppositories. Storage conditions: Store in the original packaging, protected from light and out of reach of children, in the refrigerator at a temperature of 2-8 C. Do not freeze.
