- International Nonproprietary Name - Travoprostum Pharmacological Group: Anti-glaucoma preparations Clinical-Pharmacological Group: Glaucoma treatment preparation of the prostaglandin group. Highly selective agonist of FP prostanoid receptors. Indications: The preparation is used to lower IOP in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Dosage and Administration: The recommended dose of Travatan is 1 drop once daily, in the evening. The preparation's action begins 2 hours after instillation and reaches its maximum in 12 hours. Side Effects: The most common is ocular hyperemia, which resolves immediately after discontinuation of treatment in 95% of cases. In 3% of cases, ocular discomfort, foreign body sensation, and burning may occur. In 1-2% of cases - blepharitis, conjunctivitis, dry eye syndrome, iris color change, lacrimation. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to travoprost, benzalkonium chloride, or other components. Pregnancy and Lactation: The use of Travatan is not recommended in pregnant women and during lactation. Special Instructions: ◄ Prolonged use of Travatan may cause a slight change in eye color. Iris color change occurs very slowly and is permanent. ◄ The use of Travatan is not recommended during inflammatory eye processes (iritis, uveitis). Caution is required when using Travatan in patients with risk factors for the development of macular edema. ◄ Patients using contact lenses should remove their lenses before instilling the solution and reinsert them 15 minutes after instilling Travatan.

- Международное наименование - Травопрост Фармакологическая группа: Антиглаукоматозные препараты Клинико-фармакологическая группа: Препарат для лечения глаукомы группы простагландинов. Высокоселективный агонист FP простаноидных рецепторов. Показания: Препарат применяется для снижения ВГД у пациентов с открытоугольной глаукомой или внутриглазной гипертензией. Способ применения и дозировка: Рекомендуемая доза Траватана составляет 1 капля один раз в день, вечером. Действие препарата начинается через 2 часа после закапывания и достигает максимума через 12 часов. Побочные эффекты: Наиболее частым является гиперемия глаз, которая проходит в 95% случаев после прекращения лечения. В 3% случаев может проявляться дискомфорт в глазах, ощущение инородного тела и жжение. В 1-2% случаев - блефарит, конъюнктивит, синдром сухого глаза, изменение цвета радужной оболочки, слезотечение.
