What is it?

Name - Uniclofen 0.1% 10ml Eye Drops Indications Uniclofen 0.1% solution is for ophthalmic use. Its active ingredient, diclofenac sodium, relieves pain and significantly reduces inflammatory reactions caused by mechanical eye injury and allergies. Uniclofen is used to treat non-infectious inflammatory processes of the eye, especially chronic inflammation of allergic origin of the conjunctiva and cornea. The preparation is also used for non-bacterial inflammation of the eyelids, minor trauma caused by foreign bodies in the eye and burns, photophobia, and for the treatment of corneal ulcers caused by exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation (sun rays, welding). The use of Uniclofen is also indicated in the preoperative preparation stage to reduce intraoperative miosis, to weaken increased reactive responses during cystoid macular edema (retinal center detachment) and various eye surgeries. Dosage and Administration Uniclofen should be administered with the exact precision indicated by your doctor. If you are unsure about anything, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Adults For non-infectious inflammation of the eye, usually 1-2 drops in the conjunctival sac 3-5 times a day. During eye surgeries, to prevent miosis, 1 drop in the conjunctival sac 6 times (at 30-minute intervals) 3 hours before surgery. Children over 2 years of age The indication and dosage should be selected by a pediatric ophthalmologist. Treatment should be carried out on an outpatient basis under medical supervision. Do not exceed the recommended dose. For contact lens wearers If you wear contact lenses, you should remove them before using Uniclofen. Lenses can be reinserted into the eye 20 minutes after administration of the preparation. Contraindications Uniclofen should not be used in the following cases: • In case of allergy (hypersensitivity) to diclofenac sodium or any other ingredient of the preparation; • In case of asthma, urticaria, or rhinitis (acute rhinitis) associated with the intake of acetylsalicylic acid; • In the last three months of pregnancy; • In children under 2 years of age.
