What is it?
Active Ingredient: Diphenhydramine Clinical-Pharmacological Group: H1-histamine receptor blocker Indications: • Sleep rhythm disorders (monotherapy or in combination with hypnotics); • Allergic reactions (urticaria, hay fever, angioneurotic edema); • Allergic conjunctivitis; • Vasomotor rhinitis; • Hemorrhagic vasculitis; • Serum sickness; • Dermatoses; • Chorea; • Motion sickness; • Meniere's syndrome; • Premedication. Dosage and Administration: The preparation is taken orally. For adults: 1 tablet (50mg) 1-3 times per day. As a hypnotic - 1 tablet (50mg) before sleep. The maximum single dose is 1 tablet (100mg), the maximum daily dose is 5 tablets (250mg). For children aged 6 to 12 years: 1/3 or 1/2 tablet (15-25mg) 1-3 times a day. The duration of treatment is 10-15 days. Contraindications: Prostate hypertrophy, glaucoma, peptic ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum, bladder stenosis, bronchial asthma, epilepsy, hypersensitivity to diphenhydramine. Pregnancy and Lactation: During pregnancy and lactation, diphenhydramine is used with caution only when the expected therapeutic effect for the mother outweighs the expected risk to the fetus or infant. Storage: Store in a dry place, inaccessible to children, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. The preparation is not allowed to be taken if visual inspection reveals defects! Dispensing Conditions: Pharmaceutical product Group II, dispensed with Form 3 prescription (dispensed without prescription in case of emergency).
